I directed a virtual shoot for Square with the goal of building reusable 3D sets tailored for a variety of businesses and regions. We created every element from the ground up—architecting the virtual locations, designing props, developing materials, and refining lighting and textures to ensure each scene felt authentic and versatile.

To maximize efficiency, we used consistent camera movements across different environments, allowing us to streamline production and deliver high-quality visuals while saving time and resources. Each asset was crafted in a square aspect ratio, making them easy to adapt for all the channels and formats our clients needed.

This project was a full exploration of creativity, strategy, and smart production, providing Square with a flexible toolkit for ongoing storytelling across the globe.

Process

I initially created renders in Cinema 4D to visualize the environment's potential appearance. After determining the positions of the windows and the counter, I presented the designs to the agency. We then began developing the spaces further and adding additional elements to fit the brief.
